The DeSoto Children’s Parade and Puppet Show

What a wonderful day we had together celebrating Americas 250 year anniversary! The great folks from Hernando DeSoto Historical gave us a win with The Most Imaginative! Our Manatee Stock 4H group didn’t disappoint with an incredible display of costumes and a wagon full of beads, Bibles, books and little beans babies to toss into the crowed! We had an excellent driver who pulled Betsy Ross while she diligently sewed her flag!

After the parade we setup a tent for magic shows, paper bag puppet making and of course a musical puppet show and costume booth! We met so many great folks in our community and enjoyed every moment! Thank you Early Learning coalition and of course DeSoto pirates as well as the Royal court! You were awesome!
