Kenya Mission Trip
March 18–28, 2027
Classroom Construction, Pastor's Home & Medical Outreach
Team Member Fee: $3,685
Join us in Western Kenya as we support local schools, assist with community construction projects, and participate in a primary-care medical outreach.
Our team will partner with schools serving students with special needs in rural, mountainous communities. Projects may include helping construct a much-needed dormitory, building a classroom to replace deteriorating mud-hut classrooms, and painting and repairing an early childhood education center.
We'll also help with the construction of a home for a local pastor who has served alongside our ministry teams for many years.
Another important part of our mission will be a community-wide medical outreach conducted with oversight from Kenya's Ministry of Health. You'll assist doctors and nurses as they provide care to people who may have limited access to medical services. Whether you're helping with practical tasks, holding a baby, comforting an elderly person, or praying with someone receiving medical care, you'll have opportunities to make a meaningful difference.
We'll also interview students who may benefit from our student sponsorship program, which provides $45 monthly scholarships to help cover school fees.
Experience Kenya
When schedules permit, our team may visit Lake Victoria, explore the Equator, or experience a nearby rainforest. We'll also enjoy a daytime safari at one of Kenya's renowned game parks, where we can observe wildlife in its natural habitat.
Daily team debriefings will provide opportunities for reflection, fellowship, and spiritual growth before we return home.
This trip is more than a service project. It's an opportunity to build lifelong relationships, grow in faith, and experience the joy of serving others.
Come serve with us and discover how God can use you to make a difference!
Kenya Mission Trip: September 10–20, 2027
Dormitory & Classroom Construction for Special Needs Schools and Medical Outreach
Team Member Fee: $3,685
Join Commit Ministries International in Western Kenya for a hands-on mission experience serving students with special needs and underserved communities.
Our team will assist with ongoing projects at one or more rural schools serving students with disabilities. Work may include helping construct a dormitory to accommodate the schools' growing student populations and building a classroom to replace deteriorating mud-hut classrooms.
You'll work alongside local community members, helping with tasks such as making and laying concrete blocks, digging foundations, and mixing concrete. No construction experience is necessary. Our team will receive guidance and training to help contribute safely and effectively.
We'll also participate in a community-wide primary-care medical outreach under the oversight of Kenya's Ministry of Health. You'll have opportunities to assist medical professionals, support families, comfort children, and pray with people receiving care.
In addition, we'll interview students who may qualify for our $45-per-month student sponsorship program, helping connect them with sponsors who can support their education.
Explore Kenya
When time allows, we'll visit places of interest such as Lake Victoria, the Equator, and a nearby rainforest. The trip will also include a daytime game-drive safari at one of Kenya's famous wildlife parks.
Daily devotional gatherings and team debriefings will help us reflect on our experiences, strengthen our faith, and prepare to return home with a renewed perspective.
Whether you're traveling alone, with your family, or as part of a group, you're welcome to join us. A willing heart to serve is more important than previous experience.
Come be part of something meaningful in Kenya!
