Join COMMIT Ministries International for an unforgettable mission experience in rural Romania! Our team will partner with local churches to share the love of Jesus Christ through children’s ministry, community prayer walks, practical service projects, and meaningful relationships with local families.

This trip offers an opportunity to serve alongside Romanian believers, experience Eastern European church culture, and discover how God is working in communities where many people desperately need to know they are loved.

Please contact COMMIT Ministries International for details about expenses not included in the trip fee.

SERVING COMMUNITIES THROUGH THE LOVE OF JESUS

COMMIT Ministries International partners with local churches to share the Good News of God’s Kingdom and demonstrate the love of Jesus through practical service and community outreach.

In Lisa, Romania, we are partnering with a local church to help develop a community center that will serve the needs of seven rural villages. This center is an important part of the church’s efforts to reach children, care for older adults, and provide a welcoming place where community members can gather, receive support, and experience the love of Christ.

Our team will assist with needed indoor improvement projects at the church and community center, helping strengthen the facilities that support this ongoing ministry.

HOST A WEEK-LONG VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

One of the highlights of this mission trip will be helping local churches host a week-long Vacation Bible School outreach for children in the surrounding communities. Team members will share the Good News of Jesus through Bible lessons, singing, games, soccer, and meaningful interaction with local children and families. We will also seek opportunities to connect with parents and other family members attending the activities.

No previous VBS or mission trip experience is required! A willing heart, a servant’s attitude, and a desire to share God’s love are what matter most.

Previous teams have witnessed dozens of young people make decisions to follow Christ and have had the privilege of participating in subsequent baptisms. This outreach also provides opportunities to connect with older residents, many of whom experience limited social interaction and rarely have visitors.

COMMUNITY PRAYER WALKS

Our team will participate in prayer walks throughout the communities we visit, praying for residents, families, churches, schools, and community leaders.

These walks provide an opportunity to pray for the spiritual and practical needs of each community while standing alongside local believers who faithfully serve their neighbors.

We will also have opportunities to visit other Romanian churches and learn about their ministries.

One possible visit is to a church near Roșiori de Vede that reaches out to a nearby Roma community through food outreach, meal preparation, and training programs that help teenagers develop income-generating skills and reduce their vulnerability to exploitation.

These visits will give our team a broader understanding of the challenges facing local communities and the creative ways Romanian Christians are responding.

SUPPORTING A RURAL FOOD OUTREACH

We also hope to visit a rural outreach ministry that has recently constructed a kitchen and may need additional assistance expanding its facilities.

Depending on available time and resources, our team may be able to help with further improvements. Our longer-term hope is to help develop a dining area where even more community members can gather.

This ministry provides more than food. It creates a place where people can share meals, support one another through difficult seasons, celebrate life’s joys, and build meaningful relationships.

We pray that God will open the doors needed to expand this work and give our team opportunities to serve alongside the people who make it possible.

EXPERIENCE THE BEAUTY AND HISTORY OF ROMANIA

Following our ministry activities, we will have an opportunity to explore some of Romania’s most beautiful and historic destinations.

Our sightseeing plans include:

TRANSYLVANIA AND BRAN CASTLE

We will travel to the Brașov area of Transylvania, known for its breathtaking mountain scenery and historic villages. Depending on the itinerary, we will visit Bran Castle, widely associated with the legend of Dracula and the novel by Bram Stoker.

THE BLACK SEA

We will continue to Constanța on Romania’s Black Sea coast, where we can experience a different side of the country’s landscape and culture.

BUCHAREST AND THE PALACE OF THE PARLIAMENT

Our journey will conclude in Bucharest, Romania’s capital, where we plan to visit the Palace of the Parliament, a monumental building constructed during the communist era under former leader Nicolae Ceaușescu.

This portion of the trip will provide opportunities to learn more about Romania’s history, culture, architecture, and the experiences that have shaped the country.

Sightseeing destinations and admission arrangements are subject to the final itinerary.

COME SERVE. GROW YOUR FAITH. MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

This mission trip is an opportunity to step beyond your everyday surroundings, serve alongside Romanian Christians, and experience ministry in a different cultural setting.

Through children’s outreach, prayer, practical service, and fellowship, you will have opportunities to see how God works through ordinary people who are willing to say yes to His calling.

You may arrive hoping to make a difference in the lives of others, but you will likely discover that serving changes your own heart as well.

Join COMMIT Ministries International in Romania, March 21–31, 2027, and be part of sharing the love of Jesus with communities that need encouragement, connection, and hope.
